This is the Skyjiro Katana Táiki 1070 Hardened Steel Katana with Bohi.
The blade is made of 1070 high carbon steel that has been forge with a masame pattern then through hardened and features a full length bohi and extended chu-kissaki. The blade has a cosmetic hamon added to it for appearance. The fuchi and kashira are made of brass and the Musashi double ring tsuba is made of iron. The handle is wrapped with black synthetic silk in hinerimaki with gyakute or reverse mounted menuki which are alloy and depict a twig. The saya features a buffalo horn koiguchi and large kurikata. This katana is light weight and is easy to swing and change directions yet keep enough momentum to cut targets easily. This sword will excel at light to medium target cutting and drawing (batto).
