The following is applicable to all the contracts, which you conclude with us as a supplier (House of Katanas.eu) via the www.house-of-katanas.eu website.

The placement of an order on our website indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Price and availability are subject to change without prior notice. All goods will remain the sole property of HOUSE-OF-KATANAS.EU until payment is received in full.

All products and service are subject to availability and may be withdrawn from sale at any time. If an ordered product cannot be supplied for any reason, we will offer an alternative model (if available) or give a full refund. We are completely dedicated to your total satisfaction.

Products
We have made every effort to ensure that all product information held on this website is accurate.a) Many of our products (Katana swords/Iaito swords and bokkens) are handmade, that’s why the real weight could differ +/-6% from the weight specified on the data sheet and the length can differ +/-2% from the length specified on the data sheet) The products are exactly as shown on the pictures.

Age Restrictions
Danish Law forbids house-of-katanas.eu to sell anything deemed to be a weapon – such as a sword, axe or dagger to anybody under the age of 18, and also the customer needs to have a valid permit for the weapon if required in the country of residence.

If you are under the age of 18 we will not process your order. We take our obligation to uphold this law seriously. If purchasing a weapon from our website you are confirming that you are over 18 years old. In addition to this, purchased weapons may be followed up with the request of a telephone call, to ensure the weapons are not being sold to anyone under the age of 18 years old. SHIPMENTS
We ship from our warehouses in EU and we only ship to countries within the EU.
The addressee has to pay the shipping cost always.

RETURNS
If the customer doesn’t like the product he bought or changes his/her mind, the customer must send pictures of flaws/faults in the product within 24 hours of receiving the order.

The customer is free to return the item within 14 days of receiving the order, and must inform us of this in writing prior to sending the order back. This is according to Danish Law, and we must then provide a refund or offer to exchange the item.

The customer must pay the full cost of return. We will pay the shipping cost only if the product is damaged or if it’s different from the pictures on the webshop. You always have to send pics of the product you want to return. If your refund/exchange is approved, you will be given instructions to complete your return. Items must be returned in unused, unaltered, and undamaged condition in the original packaging. Refund will be made in the same method of payment used to make your purchase.

Pricing
We pride ourselves on being as competitive as possible with our prices. If a product is advertised at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or a supplier error we reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order whether or not said order has been confirmed. In such a case we will make you aware of this and a full refund will be given if required.

Placing an Order
By submitting your order you are offering to buy goods and allowing us to use your personal details for the purpose of supplying those goods (Including passing your details onto couriers and other subcontractors). All online orders are confirmed as received by sending an auto-generated e-mail. We reserve the right to decline your order. We will contact you by telephone or email regarding delivery, delays or security issues. We will not be responsible for compensating you for any other loses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods. By purchasing any product or item you are thereby agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Faulty Returns
Products delivered which are ‘damaged’ should be notified within 24 hours from the delivery date and you must provide pics of the damage and a description of the flaws. First you have to send pics of the damages. In this case we will arrange the collection of the goods at our expenses. Upon receipt of the goods and confirmation of the fault you will be offered either a replacement, a repair or a full refund, providing the item is complete with all accessories and in its original box and packaging. If the product is not deemed faulty the goods will be returned to you. You will be liable for both the uplift and return carriage charge. This returns policy does not affect the buyer’s statutory rights.

Damage in Transit
If goods arrive in a damaged conditions you must make a note of this on the couriers delivery consignment note and contact us immediately.

Shortages and In-Correct Goods
If you take delivery of the wrong product please note this on the couriers delivery consignment note and contact us immediately. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that what they are signing for is indeed being delivered. Shortages must be noted on the courier’s delivery consignment note and you must contact us immediately.

Blade damage is guaranteed only if the sword has been used properly; the correct use will be proved by a certificate showing the participation to a Tameshighiri or Battodo course or school recognized in UK or in Europe.

Swords can be disassembled ONLY by experts and authorized people. We don’t respond of the damages caused by customers who disassemble or use swords without our assistance and authorization.

HOUSE-OF-KATANAS.EU TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY SUFFERED BY THE USE OF ITS PRODUCTS. PLEASE USE OUR PRODUCTS RESPONSIBLY, AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU OR ANYONE USING YOUR ITEMS IS VERSED IN THE ASPECTS OF SAFETY.
